And search for a miracle.

She needed some one to reach down and help her back

Tick tock,
Time drags on
Ever so slowly
As I wait impaciently
To move on to the future,
The independence,
The adulthood
That dangles above me,
So tempting,
yet so far away.
The thought of for once being my own self,
My own person,
My own leader...
The time never flies fast enough.

Tick tock,
How the time flew by,
The moments of my youth
Gone forever,
Leaving me with tainted memories
And an ampty spot in my heart
For those times of happiness,
Of being so naive and gullible...

Where has the time gone?
Life is rushing by too quickly
For me to catch and cherish every moment.

Myth

Nothing is more painful than for the passionate heart to know
with a shocking certainty
that they will never be loved.
Their's is the lot to give love and give it plentifully,
to indulge the every selfish whim of their object,
to pour themselves dry of affection,
gasping,
scraping
to be cared for in return.
Yet warmth, for whatever reason is
forbidden to them.
They, shivering in an uncaring world,
curled into themselves,
feeling their barren souls,
swear that they have nothing left to give anyone else,
that they will never again spoil a love

The bearded man began to
climb the mountains before him,
traveling to the Cavern of
Treasures left Untouched.

With a stale elegance he arrived,
reaching with a bony hand towards
the dark summit, stumbling
into the dusty Unknown.

The Cavern with Treasures left
Untouched did not glimmer. Its
rarities covered with a shawl,
surrounded by abandoned white homes.

Those bony hands began to search,
search for a life long lost. The Book
was found, faces of the worshiped stared
back from the yellowed pages.

Everyone calls love.

Walking into a pitch- black room, without being able to even see my hand in front of my face, I toy with a button on my shirt, fear rushing through me. There's no light, no way I can tell where I am. The fears of our world,
Starvation, maladies, war,
All like a group of soldiers
Attacking our world, our home,
Taking the innocent away,
Making their loved ones grieve and despair
As if their hearts were ripped out of their chests.
But, one day, these soldiers,
This burden on our shoulders,
Will be uplifted.
For we will come together as one race,
And will make these fears disappear.
Not only to avenge the innocent,
But to mold a better future for our next generation.
Then, parents will no longer stay up at night,
Worrying about where they will get the food for their family's next meal,
Children will not cry themselves to sleep

Summer Love

Every explosion of the fireworks
Reverberated the ground beneath them,
Overpowering the crash of ocean waves nearby.
Bursts of color that followed concealed the dark night sky,
Outshining the glistening stars with every different hue,
Bringing life to the already beautiful evening.

The colors reflected onto their faces,
The reds and whites and blues in the sky
Shining down on her angelic smile,
Adding color to his sparkling eyes,
And casting the smallest outline
Onto their intertwined hands
As they lay side by side,
Savoring this perfect night,
And dreading the moment their hands must part,
Because this night will come to an end,
As all picture-perfect moments do...

The time of the summer slipped so quickly between their fingers,
Now forcing them to leave this peaceful paradise
With only memories.
Memories of all the walks on the beach,
The talks while watching the picturesque sunset,
The sweet kisses they shared
With only the moon and stars as witness,

Summer was drifting away,
Yet all that mattered was that peaceful last moment together,
And the love that they shared...

This is actually a perfect representaion of what i'd like with my girlfriend this summer. It's a wonderful peace, and it actually reminds me a little of the song "Summer Nights" from the 1979 movie "Grease" because they wanted that summer to last forever... I guess I want that too with my girlfriend...
